![]() ![]() Rockstar just issued the following statement after reports of trouble with the game’s online components surfaced: Welp, it seems that the massive surge of players from the Epic Store free giveaway has not only caused problems with the store itself, as it did on launch day, but also with GTA 5 on Rockstar’s side. If not, perhaps wait those 7-10 days, but it should arrive in short order. Again, the money may be delayed, but you should have access to this stuff now in your Epic Store version of the game if you’ve downloaded it for free this week. Starting from a flat zero is daunting, and may discourage some players for playing at all. The reason this pack exists is to give players at least some chance to feel at home with other players in the game that have been going for much longer and therefore have amassed way, way more stuff. This is a bunch of property and cars and weapons to get you well on your way. None of these are really going to break the game for you, but it is certainly an upgrade of what I got when I started GTA Online at launch which was…literally nothing.
